Unit is named the Moose Creek Member of the Totatlanika Schist. Consists of black schist, green chloritic schist, and yellow quartz-orthoclase schist and gneiss. Thickness is 1600 m. Overlies the Keevy Peak Formation; underlies the California Creek Member of the Totatlanika Schist. Age is Mississippian(?).
