Exposures in small canyon tributary to Moose Creek from north, Lat. 63 deg. 59 min. 00 sec. N., Long. 148 deg. 06 min. 00 sec. W., Healy D-3 quadrangle (scale 1:63,360), AK (Wahrhaftig, 1968).
Reference section: exposures along ridge between headwaters of Sheep and Last Chance Creeks, about 4 to 5 mi southwest of type locality (Wahrhaftig, 1968).
