Type section: core boring W-1211 on farm road 90 m northwest of State Road 634, 0.6 km northeast of U.S. Highway 460, near Kings Fork, Nansemond Co., southeastern VA. Named from town of Windsor, Isle of Wight Co. (Coch, 1968).
