W., Milkweed Canyon NW 7.5-min quadrangle, Mohave Co., AZ. Named from exposures at and near junction of Westwater Canyon, a major tributary of Milkweed Canyon, in sec. 17, T. 26 N., R. 13 W., Milkweed Canyon NW 7.5-min quadrangle, Hualapai Plateau, western Grand Canyon, Mohave Co., AZ (Young, 1966; in press).
