Type locality: cliffs on northwest side of Tutu Bay and along road cuts on its east side, [in vicinity of Lat. 18 deg. 21 min. 24 sec. N., Long. 64 deg. 53 min. 15 sec. W., Eastern St. Thomas 7.5-min quadrangle], St. Thomas Island, Virgin Islands (Donnelly, 1966).
