Type section: Trego Hot Springs, south of the Western Pacific RR, 200 m west of the intersection of NV Highway 49 and a dirt track on Black Rock Desert, 18 km east of Gerlach, in sec. 3, T. 33 N., R. 25 E., Pershing Co., NV (Davis, 1978).
