Type section (subsurface): depth-interval 9,620 to 10,390 ft, Arkansas-Louisiana Gas Company Harriet Lewis No. 1 well, in NW/4 NW/4 sec. 27, T. 19 N., R. 4 W., Lincoln Parish, LA (Mann and Thomas, 1964).
