Along summit road, 300 m north-northwest of Telegraph Pass, near center of Main Ridge of South Mountains, Maricopa Co., AZ. Named from Telegraph Pass (Reynolds, 1985).
Reference localities: (1) cuts along summit road, in NW/4 sec. 20, T. 1 S., R. 3 E.; and (2) outcrops in center sec. 17, T. 1 S., R. 3 E. (Reynolds, 1985).
