Exposures in borrow pit on south valley wall of Pedro Creek at junction with Twin Creek, in SE/4 sec. 11, T. 2 N., R. 1 E., Livengood D-3 quadrangle (scale 1:63,360), AK. Named from widespread inactive solifluction layer in Yukon-Tanana Upland of central AK (Pewe, 1975).
