Middle and Late Devonian*
Type locality: Squaw Bay (now called Birdsong Bay) shoreline of Partridge Point, in center of south line of sec. 11, T. 30 N., R. 8 E., [Alpena 7.5-min quadrangle], Alpena Co., northeastern MI (Warthin and Cooper, 1935).
