Middle Mississippian (Visean; late Osagean to early Chesterian)*


Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Type section: southwestern highwall of Natural Bridge Stone Co. quarry, near the Mountain Parkway, about 6.5 km northwest of Slade, Powell Co., KY (Ettensohn and others, 1984).
