Type section: Baker quarry (abandoned) on ridge 1.6 km southeast of Stanton, KY, and north of KY Highway 213, Stanton quadrangle, Powell Co., KY. Named from the community of Rosslyn, 2 km east of the type esction (Ettensohn and others, 1984).
