Type section: exposures 600 ft down the west slope from the summit of Blacktail Mountain to about 630 ft down the east slope, Lat. 48 deg. 17 min. N., Long. 113 deg. 28 min. 30 sec., W., Flathead Co., MT (Childers, 1963).
