Type section: exposures extending from summit of Teat Mountain, in NW/4 SW/4 SW/4 sec. 15, T. 9 S., R. 5 E., along ridge crest on east side of Rough Hollow down to Red Narrows Canyon and U.S. Highway 50-6, in NE/4 SW/4 SE/4 sec. 33, T. 9 S., R. 5 E., Utah Co., UT (Young, 1976).
