Type section (composite): in NE/4 SW/4 sec. 33, T. 14 S., R. 4 W; in NW/4 NW/4 sec. 30, T. 14 S., R. 4 W.; and secs. 3 and 4, T. 14 S., R. 4 W., [Williamsburg and Palomas Gap 7.5-min quadrangles], Sierra Co., southwestern NM (Lozinsky and Hawley, 1986).
