Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Exposures at Taylors Bluff on the east side of the Ocmulgee River, 2.7 mi (4.3 km) north of Hawkinsville, Hawkinsville 7.5-min quadrangle, Pulaski Co., south-central GA (Huddlestun and Hetrick, 1985).


AAPG geologic province:

South Georgia sedimentary province
