Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:
Type section: exposure on north bluff of Big Camp Creek and in lower part of ravine that heads immediately west of Lick Branch Cemetery, Graham Twp., in NE/4 NE/4 SW/4 sec. 13, T. 4 N., R. 8 E., Jefferson Co., southeastern IN. Named from exposures along Muscatatuck River in Jefferson and Jennings Cos., IN (Shaver, 1974).
