Mulberry Grove section, in borrow pits just east of Mulberry Grove, along U.S. Highway I-70, in SW/4 SW/4 sec. 31, T. 6 N., R. 1 W., Fayette Co., south-central IL (Jacobs and Lineback, 1969, p. 21).
Informally named from Mulberry Grove, Bond Co., IL (Willman and Frye, 1970).
