Type locality (redefined): extends along Lyre River, from point 2,850 ft south of and 3,600 ft west of northeast corner of sec. 10, T. 30 N., R. 9 W., to point 950 ft south of and 3,690 ft west of northeast corner of sec. 10, T. 30 N., R. 9 W., north-central part of Olympic Peninsula, WA (Brown and others, 1956).
