Outcrop 0.5 mi north along river road north of the intersection of North Carolina State Roads 1527 and 1510 on the southeast side of the low-water bridge over the Yadkin River, 0.5 mi south of Rockford, 36 16'N, 80 39'W, Copeland quadrangle, Surry Co., NC (Bartholomew and Lewis, 1984).
