Type section (composite): (1) 124.9 ft thick, in NE/4 NE/4 sec. 25, T. 36 S., R. 6 W., Kane Co., UT, lower contact covered by Quaternary fill and upper surface is erosional; (2) 241.6 ft thick, in NE/4 NW/4 sec. 36, T. 36 S., R. 6 W., Kane Co., UT (Kurlich and Anderson, 1997).
