Not designated. Exposed on the steeply dipping east flank of Vermejo Park anticline in Left Fork of York Canyon and in Canadian River Canyon, Raton coal field, Colfax Co., NM. Origin of name not stated by author, but probably named from Left Fork (Pillmore, 1976).
