Type section: Exposure on the north bank of Conneaut Creek, 150 ft east of the Keefus Road bridge across Conneaut Creek, 1.7 mi south of Lake Erie and 0.6 mi east of Amboy, Ashtabula Co., OH (White and Totten, 1979).
