Type section: on east side of Tom-and-Cull Wash and along base of ridge separating Tom-and-Cull and Cottonwood Washes, in secs. 5, 6, and 7, T. 37 N., R. 15 W., and sec. 32, T. 38 N., R. 15 W., Mohave Co., AZ. Named from ranch in area (Moore, 1972).
