Type section: on east-facing slope of unnamed mountain opposite Mount Chiginagak, in secs. 35 and 36, T. 35 S., R. 49 W., Ugashik A-4 quadrangle (scale 1:63,360), Alaska Peninsula, southwestern AK. Named from exposures on Indecision Creek, Ugashik A-4 quadrangle (Detterman and others, 1996).
