Type section (subsurface): Dixie Oil Company Robertshaw No. 92 (Dillion No. 92), in sec. 13, T. 21 N., R. 15 W., Caddo Parish, LA. Named from town of Hosston located about 7 mi north of top of Pine Island anticline (Imlay, 1940).
