Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Well exposed along Rock Creek, Greenwood Twp., Crawford Co., northwestern PA, especially at Peterson's Falls, on the edge of which is located the Harvest Home Grove, widely known in Crawford Co. (Caster, 1934).
