Underlies town of Guthrie, King Co., central northern TX, and outcrops along South Wichita River or Salt River east of town (Cheney, 1929).
Reference section: in bluff, in SE/4 SW/4 NE/4 sec. 11, T. 1 N., R. 26 W., and southwest-flowing creek, in SW/4 SE/4 sec. 1 to NE/4 NE/4 SE/4 sec. 1, T. 1 N., R. 26 W., Harmon Co., OK (Johnson, 1990).
