Type section: exposures extending for about 150 m (about 500 ft) west of GA Highway 92, along the powerline, north of where the highway crosses Gothards Creek, about 4 km (about 2.5 mi) north of Douglasville, Nebo 7.5-minute quadrangle, Douglas Co., GA (Crawford and others, in press).
