Type section: 65-m-thick, cliff-forming limestone sequence exposed 1 km west of Morgan Pass, in sec. 21, T. 32 N., R. 69 E., Morgan Pass 7.5-min quadrangle, northern Goshute Mountains, Elko Co., NV. Named from Goshute Mountains (McCollum and Miller, 1991).
