Type section (=type section of Chilton Member of Kewaunee Formation): DePere Site, north-facing exposure in gravel pit about 100 m northwest of large radio tower, north of County Trunk Highway X, near top of Silurian escarpment, in southeast corner of sec. 38, T. 23 N., R. 20 E., [approx. Lat. 44 deg. 24 min. 35 sec. N., Long. 88 deg. 00 min. 12 sec. W.], eastern edge DePere 7.5-min quadrangle, Brown Co., eastern WI. Named from Glenmore Twp. (Mickelson and others, 1984; Syverson and others, 2011).

(1) Highway W site, [a few mi northeast of Forest Junction], on south side of unnamed creek, 60 m east of County Trunk Highway W, in NW/4 NE/4 sec. 3, T. 20 N., R. 20 E., [approx. Lat. 44 deg. 14 min. 16 sec. N., Long. 88 deg. 05 min. 33 sec. W.], Brillion 7.5-min quadrangle, Calumet Co., eastern WI;
(2) low roadcut on south side of School Road, in NE/4 NE/4 NE/4 sec. 32, T. 22 N., R. 21 E., [approx. Lat. 44 deg. 20 min. 32 sec. N., Long. 87 deg. 58 min. 09 sec. W.], Morrison 7.5-min quadrangle, Brown Co., eastern WI.
