Late Cretaceous (Maastrichtian) and early Tertiary (Paleocene and Eocene)


Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Exposure at a large, unnamed bluff in the eastern valley wall of the Flint River on a county road, approximately 3.2 mi west-northwest of the town of Marshallville. Named from town in Peach Co., GA (Huddlestun and Hetrick, 1991).
