Fodderstack Sandstone Member of Redoak Mountain Formation (TN*)
Middle Pennsylvanian (Moscovian; Westphalian; Atokan)*
Named from Little Fodderstack Mountain, Petros 7.5-min. quadrangle, [approx. Lat. 36 deg. 06 min. 19 sec. N., Long. 84 deg. 23 min. 46 sec. W., Anderson-Morgan Co. line], where it forms a bench on which a trail encircles the mountain [now mined] (Wilson and others, 1956).
