Type section: exposure on south side of U.S. Route 30, 1 mile southwest of St. Thomas, Franklin Co., PA. Named from exposure at Binkley and Ober quarry at Dry Run, 4 miles southwest of Doylesburg in Path Valley (Craig, 1949).

Appalachian basin
