Type locality: Decathon Canyon [in T. 10 N., R. 70 E., White Pine Co., eastern NV], one of the principal drainage channels of the southern Snake Range, west of Big Springs Ranch (Rush, 1956).
Reference section: Tony Grove Lake, Bear River Range, in SW/4 SW/4 sec. 6 (unsurveyed), T. 13 N., R. 3 E., northeastern Cache Co., UT (Budge and Sheehan, 1980).
