N., Long. 106 deg. 37 min. 48 sec. W, Black Top Mountain 15-min quadrangle, 1955 ed.], Sierra Co., San Andres Mountains, Sierra Co., southwestern NM. Named from political division Contadero (Stevenson, 1945).
