Type section: in Whalers Creek, 0.5 mi from shore of Chignik Lagoon, central Alaska Peninsula, southwestern AK (Atwood, 1911).
Reference section: on north shore between cove (Boomers Cove), 1.5 km north of airstrip, and sand spit at entrance to Chignik Lagoon, central Alaska Peninsula, southwestern AK (Detterman and others, 1981).
