Type locality: in sec. 14, 22, and 23, T. 23 S., R. 42 W., Hamilton Co., KS (Cobban and Scott, 1972).
Principal reference section: in NW/4 NE/4 sec. 31, and SW/4 and NW/4 NW/4 sec. 30, T. 20 S., R. 65 W., Pueblo Co., CO (Cobban and Scott, 1972).
