The rank or lithologic term should not be capitalized.]

Late Ordovician (Mohawkian; Turinian)


Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

Type section: roadcut on KY Highway 627, northeast of Memorial Bridge over Kentucky River, Clark Co., KY. Named from town of Boonesborough (Conkin and Conkin, 1983).
