Boca Ridge flow member (informal) of Lousetown Formation (CA-recognized locally in the Truckee area)
Informal. The rank or lithologic term should not be capitalized.
Quaternary (early Pleistocene)
Named from occurrence on and in vicinity of Boca Ridge, Truckee area, north of Lake Tahoe, northeastern CA. Flow on Boca Ridge projects eastward across Lower Truckee Canyon to a flow along west flank of Carson Range (Birkeland, 1963).
