Type section: measured from East Fork of Pilgrim Creek, in T. 46 N., R. 114 W., about a mile southwest of ridge west-southwest for 2.75 mi to top of point (8,800 ft elevation) overlooking North Fork, Pilgrim Creek. Named from exposures near Bobcat Ridge, Teton Co., WY (Love, 1973).
