Type section: limestone beds capping cliffs along Middle Creek near Beulah, Pueblo Co., CO. Named from section measured at Beulah, in NW/4 and NE/4 sec. 4, T. 23 S., R. 68 E., Pueblo Co., CO (Maher, 1950).
