Type section: exposures in north bank of Berg Creek, 2 km east of Adams Inlet, Lat. 58 deg. 54 min. 39 sec. N., Long. 135 deg. 45 min. 24 sec. W.; top of section is 6.2 km N. 35 deg. E. of top of Tree Mountain, southeast AK (McKenzie, 1970).
