Type locality: Barnett Hill, 1 mi north of Clarita, in sec. 2, T. 1 S., R. 8 E.. Coal Co., southeastern OK. Second type locality: Goose Creek in secs. 19 and 20, T. 1 N., R. 8 E. Named from Barnett Hill (Harlton, 1938).
