Summary:

Pg. 94, 96. Utopia limestone member of Howard limestone of Wabaunsee group. Top member of Howard. Occurs above Winzeler shale member of Howard and below White Cloud shale member of Scranton shale of Wabaunsee group. Age is Late Pennsylvanian (Virgil). [See under Bachelor Creek limestone. On p. 21 Utopia limestone is described as consisting of (1) 2.65 feet of yellowish-brown slabby limestone interbedded with yellowish calcareous shale, underlain by (2) 1.65 feet of dark-blue massive limestone with CRYPTOZOON.]
