Summary:

Unit is named the Sheep Hole Pass Granite of the Coxcomb Intrusive Suite (new) for Sheep Hole Pass between the Sheep Hole and Bullion Mountains in the west part of the Sheep Hole Mountains 30'x60' quad. Is exposed widely in the eastern Bullion Mountains as the Sheep Hole Pass pluton. Medium-grained, equigranular biotite -muscovite monzogranite, leucomonzogranite, and granodiorite. Intrudes the Sheep Hole Mountains Granodiorite. Age is Late Cretaceous.
