Summary:

Figure 75.2 (a chart showing historic and revised stratigraphy) shows the Sewickley Member of the Pittsburgh Formation of the Monongahela Group in Washington Co., southwestern PA. Also indicates that strata previously assigned to Dinsmore Limestone Bed of Benwood Limestone Member of the Monongahela Formation by other workers are now assigned to Benwood Limestone Bed of Sewickley Member of Pittsburgh Formation of Monongahela Group. Sewickley coal, previously below Monongahela Formation, is now basal part of Sewickley Member.
