Summary:

(fig. 22), p. 60, 113, 180, 190. Pokeberry cyclothem [in Carbondale group]. Thickness 11 to 17 feet. Includes Pokeberry limestone. In sequence, occurs above Brereton cyclothem and below Sparland cyclothem. May be equivalent to Jamestown cyclothem. [Age is Pennsylvanian.]
Named from outcrops about 1 mi east of Pokeberry School, in sec. 26, T. 2 N., R. 1 W., Beardstown 15-min quadrangle, Schuyler Co., central western IL.
