Summary:

Used in the Whitefish Range in the Northern Rocky Mountain region as a formation in the Missoula Group of Precambrian Belt Supergroup. Stratigraphic position and correlation with other formations of the Belt of the U.S. in the Northern Rocky Mountain region, and of the Purcell Supergroup of Alberta and British Columbia, Canada shown on figures 4 and 6.
