Summary:

Named as second from uppermost member (of 5) of Totatlanika Schist. Type section designated as exposures on Rogers Creek 1550 to 2600 m upstream from its mouth [junction with Sheep Creek], Healy D-2 quad, AK. Shown on geologic sketch map. Composed of fine-grained purple, green, and yellow schist exhibiting linear streaking on foliation surfaces. Thickness is 600 m, ranges 600 to 900 m. Overlies and interfingers Chute Creek Member (new)(Totatlanika Schist) Underlies Sheep Creek Member (new) (Totatlanika Schist). Age is Mississippian(?) based on biostratigraphic dating of SYRINGOPORA (Wahrhaftig, 1958)
